The Second Annual B.O.M.B. Fest Takes Over The Durham Fairgrounds On May 30, 2010

B.O.M.B. Fest 2010, produced by Bring Our Music Back, Inc. heads to the Durham Fairgrounds where four stages will hold national and local acts for a ten-hour music festival on Sunday, Memorial Day Weekend.

Old Lyme, Connecticut. April 12, 2010 – For the second year, Connecticut B.O.M.B. Fest, produced by Bring Our Music Back, Inc., a non-profit corporation dedicated to the enrichment of life and healing through music, will host an all-day music festival providing local talent a shared stage, voice and venue with national recording artists. This musical extravaganza will feature every kind of music imaginable from indie-rock to alternative hip-hop.

Inspired by Loyola University freshman Frank Bombaci, Jr., 18, Bring Our Music Back, Inc. donates over 70 percent of net proceeds - raised through B.O.M.B. Fest's fundraising events and individual donations – to select national and local charities. It’s truly music with purpose. Festival proceeds from the Connecticut B.O.M.B. Fest 2010 will benefit music therapy programs at the The Hole in The Wall Gang Camp, Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and YPI, a YPI - a children’s residential arts camp.

More than 10,000 music lovers are expected to attend the festival, guaranteed to have broad public appeal. This year’s national acts include Lupe Fiasco, Brand New, Jay Electronica, Girl Talk, of Montreal, Mute Math, Christine Ohlman & Rebel Montez and The Cool Kids, 40oz. to Freedom, Roots of Creation, Quintron and Miss Pussycat and mynameisjohnmichael along with dozens of local headliners.

“Music has always brought communities together. This is just good karma - we’re giving back what we get – dynamic bands, great sound and amazing fans.” says festival creator Frank Bombaci Jr.
